Final Questionaire

What did you learn about "lifelong wellness" from taking this activity class?

I learned all about longevity from my pal ted. I also learned a lot about how the muscular system works, as well as good practices and habits to stay in good health. I learned about health risks and how they are caused. Before I kinda just knew they were bad, but now I somewhat know what they are doing to my body and just how being unhealthy is affecting my body.

How would you apply this information to your life?

Well, I would say I'm already applying it and will continue to apply it my entire life. I love living a healthy lifestyle because it makes you feel good. This class taught me a few more things to help me become a little healthier, such as: amounts of stretching you're supposed to a week, how many days you should really have between heavy lift days, etc, and I cherish that.

What is your intention to continue to exercise in your life and why?

Simply because the health benefits are worth the exercise and work in the gym. You feel good when you're healthy and I'd rather feel good my entire life than not. I don't ever want to become obese because they health risks are just not worth it. Eating healthy doesn't have to be that gross, in fact, I think it tastes better than junk food when cooked right. If you eat the right foods with an adequate exercise routine, I think you'll be set.

General ideas for improving this course?

Not really, it was a good course. If I had to say anything, I would say that the tests were a little hard. I wouldn't make them as hard for a one-credit hour class. It seems pretty unfair to have to go and memorize little facts just to get an A . If it were my class, I would require more exercise and proof of documentation. I once heard, in some classes, some students had to film themselves working out. Probably not that much evidence, but maybe a picture diary of the scale every week from following your fitness routine!
