JPN 1010

I chose this class as an elective. I wan't required to take any kind of language for my general education requirements. I chose to take this class because I really appreciate the Japanese culture. I love their art, languistics, food, history, and their people. In this class, it solely on learning the language. A lot of memorization is required, with at least an hour of studying a day discluding homework. I wish we learned more about the Japanese culture and people in the class, but I can see my motives are in the minority. I have learned over 150 Japanese character such as Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. It was a lot of effort, but this class is definitely worth it!
